We had a variety of animals growing up—I raised a duck from an egg for almost 20 years. We had a wolf husky for 21 years, so we always grew up with dogs. Then I raised a bobcat for 19 years.
Also, I have three cats now that are four years old and rescued. I rescued a bunch of dogs from a euthanization shelter and kept one of them, she sadly just passed away at 21 years old. I’ve taken care of a lot of people‘s dogs, and I treat them just like I would my own animals. I like to play with the cats, I like to bring treats for the dogs, and I like to walk them or play fetch with them to make sure they have a good time.
I make sure all the water bowls are cleaned, the food bowls are cleaned, and the litterboxes too. I actually sweep, and I’ve been known to clean up people’s apartments when they are away - taking out the trash so it doesn’t smell when they come back, especially if there’s cat litter in it. I have trained Atticus off-leash as well as with a variety of commands including the more impressive ones like jackrabbit, ringmaster, spin, breakdance, flip, and more. I have experience sitting for both dogs and cats. I'm a hiker and distance runner, so I particularly like taking dogs on long walks. I'm also available for overnight pet stays.
