I have an eight-year-old mutt mix named Atticus that I rescued and a tabby cat named Banks (because I found her at the bank, abandoned!). They both enjoy the outside and sunbathing. All of the neighbors know who both are!
I have trained Atticus off-leash as well as with a variety of commands including the more impressive ones like jackrabbit, ringmaster, spin, breakdance, flip, and more. That's a lot of patience for a rescue! Getting to stop by and say hi to an animal is a delight to my day and I will treat your pet with love, as if they are my own.

I’ve been pet-sitting and dog walking since high school, and throughout college at Pepperdine, I continued pet-sitting for many wonderful clients, including lots of overnight stays. I’ve also nannied for years, and once upon a time, I even worked in craft services for reality TV shows. I’ve ridden horses for most of my life, and I’ve always had a cat, a dog, or multiple of both at any given time. My friends lovingly call me the “pug whisperer,” but I adore dogs and cats equally. Their little personalities and adorable quirks brighten my days without fail. I’m CPR/first-aid trained, and I’m experienced with dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, senior pets, and special-needs pets.

Hi, I'm Caitlin and I'm in northeast LA. I've loved dogs since I was a kid, and fell in love with cats when the one in my picture decided to adopt me when I first moved to LA. I have experience sitting for both dogs and cats. I'm a hiker and distance runner, so I particularly like taking dogs on long walks. I'm also available for overnight pet stays. I'm great at soothing pets, but also playing and keeping them active. In addition, I have experience giving medication and subcutaneous injections to cats.
You could describe me as resourceful and reliable. I miss having a pet of my own, and would love to live vicariously by taking care of yours! Fun fact: Marcel, the cat pictured above, was named for the French painter Marcel Duchamp. The vet later told me Marcel was a girl, but the name stuck!
I grew up surrounded by both domestic and farm animals, which is where my love for animal care began. Since moving to Los Angeles, I’ve worked with a dog rescue caring for large breeds, including dogs with behavioral challenges. I’ve also managed pets on strict medication schedules and am experienced with topical, oral, and injectable treatments. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes (including large breeds), cats, puppies, kittens, aquatic pets, birds, and reptiles.
I bring years of hands-on experience, professional rescue work, and genuine compassion for every pet I meet. I’m detail-oriented, empathetic, calm, and deeply caring. My approach is calm, patient, and trust-building.
